MailBlink

Cookie Policy

Effective: 19 October 2026

Current use

MailBlink currently uses browser local storage to keep the private access token for the temporary inbox you create. This is necessary to reopen that inbox in the same browser and is not used for advertising. The token can remain in local storage until the inbox is destroyed, the site detects that it has expired, or you clear site data. An expired inbox cannot be reopened with that token.

Administrator session

The separate administration site uses the strictly necessary __Host-mailblink_admin session cookie. It is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict, expires after 15 minutes, and is removed on sign-out. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Separate Google privacy controls

The informational origin infos.mailblink.net has a separate Google consent integration. When loaded, Google may use cookies or local storage to retain privacy choices according to its published message configuration. The informational page provides a Privacy and cookie settings control to reopen the applicable message; if the library is blocked, no acceptance is created by MailBlink. These controls are not yet treated as validated for advertising. The private inbox and administrator pages do not load the Google library.

Advertising and measurement

The MailBlink inbox application does not activate advertising or non-essential measurement cookies. Before Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be offered the required choices through a Google-certified consent management platform. Refusing non-essential purposes will remain possible.

Changing your choice

A persistent “Privacy choices” link will be added when a consent platform is activated. Clearing local site data in your browser removes the stored inbox token, which may make an active inbox inaccessible.
